Our department is a progressive organization dedicated to protecting life and property in Bradford Township and the surrounding communities. A strong emphasis on professional ethics, a willingness to help others, and a commitment to training are the cornerstones of our success.

Applications for membership can be obtained from any department officer or by contacting us from this web site. Three membership types offered are as follows:
1. Active
2. Social
3. Junior (ages 14 to 17)

We are required to ask your permission for a legal background check as part of the application process. Upon confirmation of an acceptable legal history the application process can proceed. Active members will serve a 9 month probationary period before being accepted as a full member. Junior member applications will be handled by a panel of Junior Member Advisors. Social members are welcome to participate in limited support roles upon submitting their application.

Prospective Active members may be asked to meet with a Chief Officer prior to submitting their application. This informal discussion will serve to communicate the needs, expectations, benefits, goals, and objectives of an active member.
