Who We Are
Our department is a progressive organization providing Medical, Rescue, and Fire suppression services to the residents of Bradford Township and surrounding communities. The urban community we serve is comprised of 4,800 residents, 1,800 households, and a large industrial base of over 54 square miles. Mutual aid responses are extended to eight surrounding municipalities. An all volunteer department, we conduct our operations utilizing 2 rescue/engines, a utility engine, and a utility pick up truck, from both the Custer City and West Branch fire stations. Through a strong commitment to training, the department provides specialty capabilities in rope-rescue, HAZMAT/Decon, and vehicle extrication. Certifications in medical First Responder, Vehicle Rescue Technician, Hazmat Operations or Technician, and Firefighter I, are our goals for every active member.
